Rock Port camping trip

This past weekend Kado, Kari, Kloey & Kori along with our family and Lora Grace drove down to the coast for a short camping trip. Kari and I were a bit worried about the sleeping arrangements; have two toddlers and one infant...so we only stayed two nights. We arrived on Friday and set up camp. Here is a picture of Kyle right after getting out of the truck!! Kyle and Kloey enjoyed digging and playing in the sand at the campsite.

Time to BBQ! This is a coast camping trip first. The boys wanted to grill instead of going out to dinner. Which probably was a good idea because our children do no sit still in restaurants. The boys grilled steaks and corn on the cob...

This is Saturday morning...the kids were up by 7am of course...Kloey is reading to Kyle.

Kyle and Kloey enjoyed a good pillow fight and playing on the beds while everyone else was getting ready to head to the beach for the day.

We finally arrived at the beach mid-morning...and the kids immediately started digging.

After all the playing in the digging in the sand, jumping waves, kite flying, and throwing mud...this little guy was pooped out!! He took an hour and a half nap!

More fun in the water! It was very breezy day and there were some good waves...

All-in-all we had a great trip to the coast...On Saturday night we all showered and changed and went out to eat at one of our favorite places...The Boiling Pot. Dinner was excellent and our children terrorized the restaurants...I am sure they will have our pictures posted, "DO NOT serve these people. They have WILD children." This is partly to blame on The Boiling Pot themselves...who in their right minds gives toddlers HAMMERS....They hammered away while the adults ate.

After dinner we were all tired. The boys hung out and drank more beer and Kari and I (& kids) all went to bed early. It was a very busy weekend but worth every moment.
