A Day of First

Today was Kyle's first day of Mother's Day Out at a local church here in New Braunfels.

I was really nervous and scared Kyle would freak out when I left the room but all he was worried about was his LUNCH box. He wanted to wear his backpack and carry his lunch box.

Kyle even found a little girl-friend...Ava John who is very talkative.

No tears!! Kyle was playing away with his new friends as I left and went home.

Here is where I found my little man when I came to pick him up at 2pm.

And of coarse...we went for Ice Cream after Kyle's First Day of MDO!!

Kyle's teachers said he was excellent! Mrs. Heather said at one point Kyle came up to her and told her, "I want mommy, NOW". She just held him for a minute then she asked Kyle if he wanted to go to art class and he shook his head yes...and that was that.

Both teachers said Kyle ate his lunch without any problems. Then it was nap time!! I really didn't even think that we would close his eyes! Kyle was the FIRST one to lay on his nap mat and go to sleep without getting up once!!!! What a big boy!

So, we will see if next Tuesday will be this easy!!
